Job Description

Aurizons presence in South Australia is expanding, and were looking for Reach Stacker Operators (Terminal Operators) to join our team. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on safely and efficiently operating reach stackers, while also contributing to terminal coordination, freight documentation, and safety compliance.Key responsibilities:Operate reach stackers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts for freight and container movementsAssist with planning and scheduling of terminal services, including basic marshalling tasksConduct inspections of equipment and ensure all documentation is complete and compliantManage gate processes for incoming and outgoing vehicles, and update the Transport Management SystemInduct customers and contractors in line with site safety protocolsWork collaboratively with the team to support safe, efficient, and continuously improving operationsAbout YouValid Reach Stacker and Forklift licences are highly regarded (training may be provided if needed)Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamHigh attention to detail, especially in safety and compliance practicesProactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to operational needsFlexibility to work a variety of shifts as part of a rotational roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by operational demandsAbility to successfully complete pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check, reference checks, and a medical assessmentFIFO or DIDO arrangements from Adelaide, Whyalla, or Port Augusta may be considered, subject to operational requirementsWhat We OfferAt Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
