Add expected salary to your profile for insights.ITM is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of undercarriage components and complete undercarriage solutions.An exciting opportunity is available for a Trades Assistant to join ITM Mining at our Welshpool facility.Working in a fast-paced, team environment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day assembly and disassembly of drill, dozer, and excavator track groups.Roles & responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Inspecting, measuring, and reporting on various dozer, drill, and shovel frames.Preparing track links and components.Assembling and disassembling track.Performing basic welding including tags and using hand tools for grinding and milling.Maintaining and caring for all equipment, tooling, and machines used.Previous experience, skills, and attributes:Mechanical aptitude, working in a hands-on role, and use of various hand tools.Experience in operating a field press and fixed track press or similar tooling/machinery.Welding and gas cutting skills.The successful candidate will have:Experience in a mechanical trade qualification or working as a TA in the manufacturing industry.Effective organizational and time management skills to produce quality work and meet deadlines.Be safety conscious and follow all HSE requirements.Capable of doing physical work and being on their feet for long periods.Adequate written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Dogging tickets are not required but are desirable.Please apply with a current resume.We look forward to hearing from you.Unlock job insightsSalary match, Number of applicants, Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following forklift licenses do you have?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?How many years'' experience do you have as a trades assistant?To help fast track investigation, please include any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
