About this roleAircraft Technician / Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - AME AvionicsLocation: Darwin, NTThe opportunityAirbus has opportunities for permanent full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Avionics (AME Av) to join our ARH maintenance team at Robertson Barracks in Darwin.As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will work with a team of technical experts undertaking aviation maintenance activities to support Airbus Australia Pacific (AAP) and their customers on the ARH Tiger.About the roleThis position involves interacting with stakeholders to identify maintenance requirements and plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction. The role reports to the Team Lead Aircraft Line Maintenance and is responsible for ARH maintenance activities, off-aircraft maintenance, and supporting operational units with tasks such as troubleshooting and aircraft modifications.Daily tasks may include:Performing maintenance in accordance with regulationsUndertaking aircraft maintenance within your authorized scope to meet delivery schedulesEnsuring maintenance activities comply with Airbus MOE or 1 AVN MOE standardsIdentifying opportunities to improve maintenance servicesAbout youTo succeed, you should embody Airbus values, work passionately and efficiently under deadlines, and strive for continuous improvement.
