Options include:South West - Australind (Old Coast Road)South West - North Shore (Koombana Beach, in the heart of Bunbury)Perth - Kwinana Pigment Plant (Mason Road, Kwinana)Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in the timely and accurate consolidation and preparation of monthly financial reports for our Australian companies, adhering to US GAAP and IFRS standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-end reporting - process and post journal entries transactions in SAP, ensuring General Ledger accuracy.Maintaining lease accounting (US GAAP and IFRS) including novated leases,Maintain inventory accounting, asset retirement obligations, rebate and other key areas of the businessMonthly balance sheet reconciliationsQuarter end reporting of key data and statistics to global corporate team.Year end assisting with year end auditsPreparation of the monthly BAS return.Maintain monthly, quarterly and annual business controls, surveys and statistics.FBT preparation and lodgement of the annual returnProvide accounting support to Singapore and other company operations.Apply relevant Corporate Policies and Procedures.Improve business process efficiencies.Royalties prepare and lodge quarterly returns.Preparation of SOX controls monthly/quarterlyAbout you:Degree in Accounting/Finance.5 years of experienceKnowledge of IFRS and understanding of US GAAP, particularly in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of GST, Royalties and FBT compliance for Australian Corporate entities.Strong post-qualification experience in a production, manufacturing, or mining environment.Experience with SAP (or similar ERP) using multiple currencies is highly desirable.Proficiency in MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills.Desirable - Membership or working towards membership of a recognised professional accounting body (CA/CPA/CIMA).If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial accounting and a passion for improving business processes, we would love to hear from you!What Next?Does this role sound like the challenge you are looking for?
