We support the business actively manage and reduce its financial crime risks, ensuring Bankwest meets its regulatory and community expectations. We achieve this through driving effective implementation of the Groups AML/CTF, Sanctions and ABC policies whilst continually strengthening our Financial Crime risk management framework, procedures and controlsDo work that mattersReporting to the Executive Manager Financial Crime Risk and Controls, you will be a member of the Bankwest Financial Crime leadership team and will play an integral role in interpreting and implementing the AML/CTF Amendment Act.Your key responsibilities will include:Lead the coordination and project management of transformation activity across Bankwest, specifically the implementation of the AML/CTF Amendment Act.Contribute to the governance and execution of AML/CTF, Sanctions and AB&C Programs.Continuously work at enhancing and strengthening the change management process for regulatory related changes/updates/projects, including the governance and oversight of Bank wide programs such as AML policy reforms.Provide business analysis planning and monitoring to determine which activities are necessary in order to identify and define relevant stakeholders, including the management of key governance forums.We''re interested in hearing from people who have:Experience and understanding of FCC policies, operational processes and technology requirements across AML/CTF, Sanctions and AB&C legislation.Proven strategic thinker with ability to plan, coordinate and define critical requirements for policy implementation.Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence and negotiate at executive level.Excellent written and verbal communication including writing of committee papers and facilitation of working groups with multiple stakeholdersIf you''re already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you''ll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
