As a leader in the retail industry, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and regulatory adherence.About The RoleAs a Compliance Business Partner for our Liquor division, you will serve as a trusted advisor regarding laws and regulations relevant to the commercial business unit. This includes the Food and Grocery Code of Conduct. You will work closely with stakeholders from across the business to strengthen our compliance processes, navigate business decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.What You Will Be DoingAdvise and support business units on competition law, risk, and compliance matters specific to the Liquor division, including dealings with suppliers.Collaborate with stakeholders such as Legal and Risk to enhance compliance processes.Implement process improvements to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.Provide guidance on a broad range of other laws such as biosecurity, product safety, labelling, and trade measurement.Assess emerging areas of regulatory risk and support the business unit in readiness for legislative changes.Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.Ideally You Will HaveProven experience dealing with competition and consumer regulations, risk & compliance disciplines, ideally within retail sectors.Proven experience in reviewing and improving key processes and controls.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.Whats in it for you?Flexible working options We know that work is only one part of your life, so we actively encourage a positive work-life balance and provide hybrid working options to help you achieve it.Office perks Take advantage of our gym facility and fitness classes, free parking, BBQ area, mini-Coles supermarket, fooderie hub where you can sample new products before they hit the shelves, school holiday program and so much more when you come in.Discounts Eligible team members receive 5% discount all year round on your Supermarket and Liquor online and in-store purchases.
