Working from home, you will provide brief phone and webchat support to our service users who typically present with mental health concerns. Were looking for individuals passionate about supporting people experiencing emotional distress, depression, and anxiety to join our community-based team and make a difference every day.We have Permanent Part-Time contracts available over our Afternoon shift space. The hours are varied, falling between 11am to 11pm (AEST) across the week, with regular weekend work being mandatory.About you:You are a warm, empathic, kind, and patient individual. As a Mental Health Coach, you will deliver front-line support to help seekers in our community who present with emotional distress, anxiety, and depression symptoms.Self-motivated and tech-savvy with strong administration and time management skills.Resilient and able to cope with high volumes of calls and chats discussing complex mental health symptoms and life circumstances.Proven experience in an office-based, corporate, or contact center environment, with a strong emphasis on managing calls and utilizing computer-based systems daily, is essential.Willing to collaborate within a team to support mutual learning and engage in continuous professional development.Tertiary qualifications such as the following would be highly regarded:Diploma in CounsellingDiploma in Mental HealthDiploma in PsychologyDiploma in Youth Work and Youth JusticeEndorsed Enrolled NurseParamedical ScienceWhile formal qualifications are not mandatory, candidates should possess relevant experience and demonstrate a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on people''s lives and alleviating their distress.You will be supported by an induction program designed to scaffold, support, and safeguard BBSS Coaches in their first 12 months.
