Reporting to the General Manager and CHAC Treasurer, this role oversees payroll, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and administrative support for program areas. The Financial Officer will lead and support finance staff, ensure compliance with legislation and funding requirements, and contribute to the organisations ongoing financial sustainability.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant awards.Monitor accounts payable and receivable, conduct reconciliations, and manage banking activities.Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, budgets, and program-specific financial statements.Support grant acquittals, funding applications, and audits.Collaborate with Program Managers on budget preparation and financial monitoring.Assist with continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.Additional responsibilities outlined in the Position Description.The Perks:Work for a dynamic, family friendly, Not for Profit Organisation.
