Our Home is close to plenty of local cafs, restaurants, grocery stores and gyms.The important role you will playAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamRespect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientationAbility to be well organized and work under pressure and timelines Ensure all cleaning requirements are met at each shiftLead a team of cleanersAlways interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive mannerEnsure the home is clean to high standardsFollow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredCollaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.What you will bring to the roleKnowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Previous experience of working in aged care.Attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols and schedules.Experience in supervisory role, training is desirable.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.A positive attitude and a compassionate approach to elderly residents.Understanding and adherence to infection control practices.Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.What Our People Love About Working HereAs a team that supports older people to live life on their terms, we genuinely care - for our people, our work and the elderly.
