We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.We currently have 3 x 12-month temporary appointments available, with possibility of extension and/or permanency.Midland Campus, as we are a multi-campus institution you may be required to work from more than one campusOur employees have access to a range of benefits including:Salary packaging/sacrifice facility12% employer superannuation contributionThirteen weeks paid long service leave after 7 yearsFifteen days personal leaveFour weeks annual leaveFour weeks professional leavePaid parental leave 14 weeksAbout the RoleWe are currently looking for candidates with skills and expertise in Fabrication trades to plan, develop, and deliver high-quality training and assessments to students in this field.Aligning with relevant curriculum and training package requirements, as a Lecturer, your primary responsibilities will include:TeachingFacilitating learningAssessing student progressAdditionally, you will engage in professional activities and delivery-related tasks to ensure excellence in education.To maintain the highest standards, Lecturers are expected to stay current with the latest technological advancements and industry trends through ongoing professional development.This enables you to offer up-to-date insights and guidance to both the College and the industry when needed.If you thrive in a dynamic educational environment and want to make a lasting impactthis is your opportunity!To be eligible for employment in this role you must have the following;A relevant trade qualification in Boilermaking/Welding or Heavy Fabrication which is recognised in AustraliaAt least five (5) years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this positionThere is a minimum qualification required to deliver accredited vocational education and training (VET) as defined by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (Standards), or its successors.
