ASC is seeking two Fabrication Team Leads to provide technical and trade leadership across fabrication and welding operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality production, mentoring tradespeople and apprentices, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance and performance. Join us in supporting Australias submarine capability with excellence and integrity.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor Tradespeople, Leading Hands, and Apprentices to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.Manage welding operations, ensuring strict adherence to ASCs quality standards.Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to execute scheduled work and implement maintenance strategies.Drive performance improvements through coaching, feedback, and clear goal-setting.Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and foster a safe, inclusive work environment.Support training initiatives in consultation with internal stakeholders.Champion continuous improvement and change management processes.About YouRelevant Trade Certificate and Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor (AS 1796).Cert IV in Management or equivalent leadership qualifications highly desirable.Proven experience leading teams in fabrication and welding environments.Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated experience in Heavy Fabrication (experience in CCSM Hull Welding is highly desirable).Intermediate computing skills and adaptability to change.High integrity, resilience, and a strong drive to achieve positive outcomes.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
