Our team typically work 120 hrs per 4 week rotation. This is because we will invest in you and your development. Let us know how many hours suit you!Genuine supportwhile you transition into the role and throughout. We are busy but we want you to succeed. This includesshadow shiftswith senior vets,, phone support, collaboration on cases with other departments and skilled nurses.Shifts are 10 or 12.5 hours in length and are across 24 hours. Our break room is also equipped with a professional-grade espresso coffee machine, stocked with gourmet Allpress roasted coffee beans.The role:The position involves primary responsibility for the treatment of primary accession and referred cases to our emergency and critical care department, as well as shared care of hospitalised patients both from the primary emergency caseload and the other specialist departments. Management of cases in the ICU often involves discussion and assistance from multiple specialist disciplines, providing an excellent opportunity for learning and case follow-up.About us:We are a large 24hr multidisciplinary hospital based in the eclectic inner-city neighbourhood of Collingwood (3km from the CBD).
