Are you ready to lead from the front? Hanlon Industries is looking for a confident and capable Processing Supervisorto join our high-performing fabrication workshop in Geelong. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of our workshop manufacturing processes. You''ll take ownership of quality, safety, efficiency, people, and scheduling to help drive exceptional outcomes for every project.About the RoleAs a Processing Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate steel processing operations taking direction from Workshop Manager, Project Managers, or Project Coordinators, and stepping up independently when needed. You will oversee core fabrication activities such as cutting, bending, drilling, plasma, and beamline operations, while ensuring safety, quality, and scheduling expectations are exceeded.What Youll DoImplement daily job activities and ensure efficient workflow.Lead and motivate your team while holding them accountable to safety, quality, and performance standards.Interpret and act upon technical drawings, reports, and specifications.Manage job scheduling and update project progress boards in collaboration with Project Managers.Coordinate materials, tooling, equipment and delivery schedules to meet project timelines.Conduct toolbox meetings, SWMSreviews, safety & quality inspections, and staff inductions.Maintain registers for plant/equipment and ensure all items are fit for purpose.Ensure all documentation - OHS&E, timesheets, spreadsheets, procurement - are completed accurately and on time.Maintain a clean, safe, and productive workshop environment.Be a leader in continuous improvement and uphold Hanlons ISO-certified systems.What Youll BringProven leadership and people management skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.Knowledge of processing automation machinery and/or machine maintenance (highly regarded).Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-first attitude.Confidence to make executive decisions and maintain discipline on the floor.Familiarity with fabrication tools and workshop operations.Administrative ability to manage documentation, reports, and ordering systems.Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.Proficiency with basic computer tools and systems.A tidy appearance and professional manner.Why Hanlon?At Hanlon Industries, we dont just build steel, we build strong careers, and futures.
