You will have a chance to make a real difference to your local communities and to the lives of those you work with.About The RoleThe Magistrate Associate provides administrative, secretarial and research support to the Magistrates of the court in accordance with established legislation, policy and procedure. The Associate may be directed to work with any Magistrate or participate in job rotation at equivalent level for continued development.The Role Of This Position Includespreparing matters for hearingmanaging court sittings including trialsproduces and distributes court orders made by the magistrate in the court case management databaseliaising with relevant parties to ensure hearings run smoothlyattending in court as a judicial support officer both in Perth and in various circuit locations throughout Regional Western Australia.produces and distributes court orders made by the magistrate in the court case management database.EligibilityThe successful applicant will be required to accompany the magistrate on circuit to towns in regional Western Australia.To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia.
