You''ll lead a team of experts, developing strategies to enhance the research infrastructure ecosystem and manage key platforms. Your role will involve securing funding, fostering partnerships, and ensuring long-term sustainability of research technologies across multiple disciplines.Your responsibilities will include:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement research infrastructure strategies aligned with university goals and the Research Infrastructure Ecosystem Roadmap.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimise research infrastructure investments and access.People Leadership: Lead and manage a high performing team and motivate them to achieve the research infrastructure goals of the University.Policy and Operational Excellence: Provide expert advice on research infrastructure policy and drive operational efficiencies across university platforms.You may be a great fit if:You are a strategic leader with extensive experience in research infrastructure management, possessing a deep understanding of funding mechanisms and the ability to foster collaborative partnerships across academic and industry sectors.You may also:Have a proven track record in developing and implementing research infrastructure strategies.Show a commitment to driving innovation and excellence in research infrastructure.Possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups.Have in-depth knowledge of national and international research funding landscapes.Demonstrate financial acumen and experience in managing complex budgets.For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
