Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.Account Director NSW Public SectorThe Account Director will be responsible for meeting revenue targets in NSW through direct sales and partner driven sales. Your territory includes a number of installed customers and substantial new business opportunities. Our company is the clear leader in this market space.We have excellent solutions, excellent customers and excellent partners. This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate.The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in direct sales and therefore high-touch capabilities. While we work through may channel partners the requirement for this sales role is to be selling with the partners.They will ideally have experience in selling business solutions in one or more of the following or closely related categories: Contact Centre, CRM, Solutions/Software, Customer experience platforms, Customer analytics, digital customer engagement and AI solutions.The successful candidate will have:A track record in sales of cloud platforms and the sales of AI driven solutions is highly desirable.Must have a proven track record of meeting revenue quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.The individual must be technically proficient and demonstrate self-sufficiency. This role will work alongside a local pre-sales consultant as well as a range of partners with local representation.Previous training in any of the well-known industry sales methodologies would be well regarded.What Youll Do:In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Responsible for new Business Development through prospecting, qualifying and selling cloud solutions and services using both Direct and Indirect sales efforts including phone calls, email, social media sites, etc.Proficient and consultative-selling-skillsManage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycleConduct one-on-one and/or group sales presentationsResponsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reportsResponsible for contract signoff working in conjunction with the legal departmentCoordinate introduction of appropriate Genesys departments to new partnersAt times works with channel partners in reselling our products and partnering on joint opportunities.Manage development and progress of new partnersWorks with alliance partners to build relationships and develop joint sales opportunitiesAd hoc duties as directed by ManagementBuild or already have industry knowledge in the Public Sector verticalYouve been there and done thisBS/BA or equivalent work-related work experience5+ years minimum of direct/channel sales management experiencePrevious professional sales methodology training is highly desirable. E.g. TAS, Challenger etc.Experience selling to medium to large corporate clients and/or Telecommunications Service Providers and the management of Resellers experienceExperience selling to medium to large corporate clientsKnowledge of Call Centre Management, Customer Relationship Management and Digital Customer ExperienceDemonstrable track record of personal development and closure of businessExcellent communication skills, sound presentation skills, business aptitude and work ethic are requirements of this positionCompetent closer with a strong work ethicCapable of representing the company at the most senior levelsExcellent communication skills, sound presentation skills and business aptitudeSelf-starter with commitment to meeting goals and quotasTechnical Proficiency an ability to learn and present the solution set to a reasonable depthWork ContextCommunicates regularly with customers, colleagues and managementUses computer frequentlyTravels to customer and business meeting sites as requiredAbility to travel within and outside of territory to customer and business meeting sites, including international locationsWhen it comes to people, the right fit at Genesys is someone with charisma and a likeability factor who is determined to succeed, highly motivated to meet and exceed annual sales goals and willing to be coached for continuous growth and development.
