This pivotal role will ensure financial sustainability, coordinate diverse income streams, and support the delivery of culturally grounded programs and services. The CFO will oversee all financial functionsincluding budgeting, reporting, auditing, and compliance with funding requirements.This Role is based in Derby, WA. Relocation support is provided to the successful candidate.The RoleThis role will provide strategic financial leadership across the organization, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and sustainability in support of community-driven programs and priorities. Key responsibilities include:Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting aligned with the corporation''s strategic goals.Prepare annual budgets for the corporation as a whole.Support team leaders in the management of their annual budgets.Oversee financial operations including payroll, procurement, and compliance.Coordinate and streamline income streams from grants, commercial activities, and service delivery.Ensure compliance with government funding agreements and reporting obligations.Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board.Present financial reports at Board and Finance Subcommittee meetings.Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.Promote culturally safe financial practices and build financial literacy across the organization.About you:Youll be a proactive and professional financial leader with a strong sense of cultural respect, integrity, and confidentiality.
