The successful candidate will be expected to add value from day one someone who knows how to take ownership, drive accountability, and lead from the front.What the Role Involves:Designing and leading the Food Safety, Quality Assurance & Environmental strategyManaging and mentoring a strong on-site team (4 direct reports)Ensuring GFSI, HACCP, regulatory and customer standards are fully metLeading internal and external audit programsOwning CAPA and NCR systems to drive real-time improvementsPartnering across operations, supply chain, and senior leadership to drive resultsMonitoring and reporting on performance metrics with a continuous improvement focusOverseeing budget, quality performance, and compliance riskWhat We''re Looking For:5+ years in food manufacturing QA, with at least 2 years at Head of or Senior Technical Manager levelDegree in a relevant field (Masters in Microbiology preferred)Deep working knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, FSANZ, BRC or SQFExperience in high-risk categories such as red meat or seafood is highly regardedStrong systems knowledge SAP, SharePoint, Food Safety PortalsConfident leadership style builds trust, accountability, and performanceCommercially aware understands how quality ties to operational successSomeone who takes ownership and isnt afraid to get stuck in from day oneThis is a career-defining opportunity to join a respected food brand, lead change, and make a real impact on both people and performance.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
