Youll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team.About Gaza Ridge Health CentreThe Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga. The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Armys Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas. This is a large base providing services to over 5000 Defence Force members. The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours are 07:30 15:30 Monday Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).Your ImpactWe are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a permanent part time capacity, working 3 days per week (no Fridays).As a Medical Officer, you will:Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policiesWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnelAssess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical supportProvide medical technical advice to Defence leadershipWork across outpatient and inpatient care settings as neededWhat Youll NeedUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical PractitionerFRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational RegistrationMinimum 2 years full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 yearsAustralian Citizen for Baseline Security Clearance requirementsWhy Join Us?Serco is a trusted partner of the Australian Defence Force, providing integrated healthcare across 40+ bases.
