The position will be primarily located at Hawkesbury District Hospital within the Department of Anaesthesia.The Head of Department is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient clinical services through leadership and management, coordinating medical staff for safe and effective service delivery, and overseeing departmental clinical governance. This is a 3 + 2-year term, remunerated at Staff Specialist Management Allowance Level 1.The successful applicant will demonstrate sound clinical knowledge in anaesthetics, possess a commitment to clinical leadership and staff development and have proven ability in innovation, team building and strategic planning.
