Applicants need to ensure they meet the RACP entry requirements in theRACP Gastroenterology 2025 Handbookin order meet the training criteria to support employmentin an Advanced Training position.This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12-24 months with the possibility of extension(s).Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.Appointments may be made from this pool until03/11/2025.Appointments for this position will not commence until 2026.Position Profile:The Registrar Trainee Gastroenterology/Hepatology will be an integral part of a team committed to providing high quality and patient centred care to all patients under the supervision of Clinical Supervisors within a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide training, supervision and education for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) and Interns. In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team works to achieve national, State and North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) performance standards and targets.Doctors wishing to apply for Gastroenterology Training Program through the college must also apply for this position.
