They empower ASX to safely access data, integration and cloud services to access and share data to create innovative and sustainable solutions. We live the ASX Values and are part of a dynamic culture founded on collaboration and respect.Your ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Platforms Accountability for the build and run of enterprise cloud, data and integration platforms, driving their lifecycle development and maturity while ensuring reliable service management for the critical workloads they support. Platform Services Management of teams providing supporting services to the platforms including delivery, enablement, release management, testing and governance (including a Cloud Control Centre).Engineering Oversight of data, cloud and DevSecOps engineering functions in the build of scalable and re-usable frameworks to support business-led product and workload development.People Leadership Lead, inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists fostering an engaged, collaborative and high-performing culture.Business Management Accountability for managing operational and project budgets, workforce planning, business case submissions, and achieving optimisation targets through efficiencies and decommissioning legacy technology.Commercial and Partner Management Work closely with enterprise legal and procurement teams to negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers, establish partnerships for staff augmentation, and own the ongoing relationships and outcomes.Your Experience And QualificationsMust haveProven experience in building and operating modern data and integration platforms with engineering frameworks, reliable controls and data management at their core.Strong service management and operational risk and compliance experience gained through supporting critical platforms and workloads in highly governed enterprises.Proven ability to design, establish and motivate high-performing teams, leading them through technology transformation and organisational change.Record of building strong relationships with stakeholders, customers and partners, with an ability to influence and communicate with confidence and credibility up to board level.Extensive financial and commercial experience gained through end-to-end budget and P&L ownership, commercial contracting and vendor management.Nice to haveHands-on experience with AWS cloud and data services, integration technologies including Kafka streaming, MFT and API, DevSecOps and engineering frameworks, observability and test tooling.Experience working within a platform/product operating model where centrally operated platforms support efficient and effective consumption of cloud and data services by domain-aligned business teams.Experience engaging with regulators on cloud adoption for critical business applications, ensuring the effectiveness and transparency of ITGC-aligned controls.Demonstrated success in implementing strategies that promote data centricity through increased access to data, analytics, and the adoption of AI. Experience in modernising and optimising technology systems through architecture roadmap-aligned implementations, migrations and decommissioning.Polished presentation skills with an ability to simplify complex technology concepts through effective explanations and storytelling.Financial services background and subject matter expertise gained through industry experience.A keen interest in emerging technologies and industry developments with the curiosity and drive to shape what comes next.We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how youll help us to live our values.
