Youll retain final sign-off on financial reporting, oversee compliance, and guide the budgeting and forecasting process. You''ll also play a key role in steering ongoing systems upgrades and process improvement initiatives.Key areas of responsibility include:Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team & committeesLeading financing strategy, including tax incentives and grant optimisationWorking with legal and sales teams across rights, royalties, and IP commercialisation mattersSupport modelling and due diligence on strategic partnerships, JV Opportunities and distributionDriving budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis at a group and production level, including greenlighting inputProviding commercial insight to support decision-making, and ROI modelling to optimise revenue pathwaysManage irregular and challenging cash flow patternsActive involvement in risk minimisation across group operationsSuccessful Candidate ProfileYou''re a CA/CPA-qualified finance leader with a strong track record in media, entertainment, or content-driven businesses. You thrive in creative, fast-moving environments and are as comfortable in strategy meetings with the CEO as you are deep in production budgets or negotiating rights deals.You''re commercially sharp, technically sound, and know how to balance the art of storytelling with the science of financial discipline.Youll be:A proven CFO or senior finance executive with experience in media, production, or entertainmentSkilled in leading finance strategy across complex, project-based environmentsExperienced in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, especially where production cycles and milestone payments come into playConfident navigating grants, tax incentives, and funding structuresFamiliar with IP commercialisation, rights management, and JV/partnership modellingTechnically strong on financial compliance and statutory obligationsA natural leader with a collaborative, stakeholder-focused approachApply NowIf youre immediately available and bring the right sector background, wed love to hear from you.
