Melbourne River Cruises is looking for a local deckhand to join our team!What We Offer: 1825 hours a week now, with more as the season gets busier Full training provided across multiple vessels Opportunity to assist the captain and even drive boats on the Yarra Pathway support if youre keen to transition into becoming a qualified Master Be part of Melbournes thriving tourism industry and service customers from all around the world Work aboard our fleet of 7 vessels, including sightseeing cruises, party cruises, and the iconic Spirit of Melbourne Cruising RestaurantYour Duties Will Include:Setting up and packing down vesselsGeneral cleaning and maintenanceChecking tickets and assisting guestsSelling food and drinks from our snack barRefueling and shutting down vessels at the end of operationsQualifications & Preferred Experience:Must be available for weekend and evening shiftsRSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtainPrevious boating or maintenance experience is an advantage.A friendly, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work well in a teamIf youre reliable, love working with people, and want a unique job cruising the Yarra River, this is for you!
