Here youll find challenges that excite you and development opportunities to build a lifelong career.JOB PURPOSE: Serve as sales liaison among dealers, customers and other Caterpillar personnel for rental related products and aftermarket sales within Asia Pacific region.ResponsibilitiesSole responsibility for sales of rental related products and aftermarket sales activity for the designated coverage territory, counseling dealers; providing guidance on existing and potential customer service issues and improvement measures for rental related products and aftermarket sales; assisting dealers on forecast, sales/rental/used strategy planning and sales techniques; supporting rollout of new products (eg., products, parts, customer service agreements, other service products); analyzing and communicating marketplace and competitive activity to Caterpillar personnel and dealers; analyzing product application, configuration and utilization that provide the best solution for a customer; assisting dealers with business planning for the designated territory; and creating and promoting programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization.Requires incumbent to keep current on customer/dealer market needs. Applies product & industry knowledge in support of Cat, dealer & customer expectations in both the short term and long-term horizons. Implements and delivers on global Cat rental team dealer and market strategy.Work independently on assignments and collaboratively within EPD.
