Assessment Support Officer and Complaints Triage Support OfficerJoin to apply for the Assessment Support Officer and Complaints Triage Support Officer role at Department of Education, Western AustraliaAssessment Support Officer and Complaints Triage Support Officer1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Assessment Support Officer and Complaints Triage Support Officer role at Department of Education, Western AustraliaWe have three (3) permanent full-time positions commencing as soon as possible1x - Assessment Support Officer2x - Complaints Triage Support OfficerThe Departments Standards and Integrity Directorate within the Professional Standards and Conduct Division, is responsible for:the assessment and management of complaints in line with the new Complaints and Notifications Policyinvestigation of staff disciplinary mattersreviews into child deaths and critical incidentsmonitoring working with children check compliance, associated with departmental employees.The Directorate promotes a culture of integrity across the organisation by delivering education, training and support that promotes high standards of conduct amongst staff and focuses on resolving complaints effectively, maintaining child safety, and reducing serious misconduct risk associated with fraud and corruption.The Department investigates allegations of staff conduct in accordance with the Public Sector Management Act 1994, and with reference to the Departments Code of Conduct, policy framework, and formal instructions from the Public Sector Commissioner.The RolesWe are seeking analytical, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join our Assessment Teamthe first point of contact for complaints and misconduct matters across the State. This team plays a vital role in promoting integrity in public education by assessing and managing concerns raised by employees, parents, and stakeholders.Assessment Support OfficerAs an Assessment Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative support for the assessment and management of complaints and allegations of misconduct. This includes:Assisting with the implementation and evaluation of programs, projects, and initiatives.Preparing project plans, reports, support materials and monitoring systems.Maintaining departmental websites and resources relating to misconduct and complaints management.Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with departmental policies, standards and guidelines.This role would suit someone with excellent organisational skills, strong written communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Complaints Triage Support OfficerAs a Complaints Triage Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries and complaints, providing advice on the Departments complaints processes and ensuring issues are managed appropriately.
