Our purpose is to provide fit-for-purpose and innovative planning and delivery services that contribute to the success of ECU as a vibrant and progressive University.FCS principally comprises Facilities, Projects, Space, and Campus services. The Facilities team are responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of the University''s facilities. This includes managing maintenance contracts, conducting condition audits, and providing technical support for various projects to meet the strategic goals and legislative requirements of the University.The RoleYou will play a pivotal part in supporting the Electrical Services Technical Manager, by administering and monitoring our maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical advice for both minor and capital projects. You will assist in the completion of condition audits and the preparation of preventative maintenance plans, contributing to the efficient maintenance of our facilities. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the Universitys infrastructure meets strategic goals and legislative requirements.Skills & ExperienceTrade qualification in a relevant electrical and fire discipline or equivalent experience.Extensive experience in building maintenance services within large facilities.Solid understanding of maintenance procedures.Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems.Strong customer service skills.Ability to work cooperatively with others.Adaptability to changing environments.You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the Universitys values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.Benefits & RemunerationThis full time, ongoing role, attracts remuneration of $95,310 to $102,830 p.a. plus 17% University superannuation contribution.ECU supports a work/life balance for staff.
