This role will play an important part in joint business planning, as well as identify, evaluate, acquire, and maximize new business development and sales growth for the business.Reporting to the Business Manager, this role will also be responsible for using analytic tools and data systems to review insights and develop strategies that result in better customer partnerships, unlock new opportunities, and increase returns and profitability.A background working with Coles and/or retail sales is desirable, and experience from any culinary background is advantageous. This role empowers its holder to show their creativity and knowledge of food and cuisine.This role would also suit someone with a critical understanding of Coles, specializing in dry goods and liquid sauce sales.Our preferred qualifications for this role include:Minimum 2 years of corporate sales experience (preferably retail private label)Previous national account experience within the food industryAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a business with large growth goalsHigh-level business acumenProven ability to develop new businessExcellent presentation and organizational skillsExperience in developing sales strategies and plansExperience with new product developments (NPD)Track record in managing large accounts and relationship managementStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsUnderstanding of project management processesThis role is based at our head office in Braeside, Melbourne, with a supported hybrid work model.
