Our commitment is to foster a welcoming, innovative, safe, empowering, and a respectful environment where these values are upheld every day.Join our team!The People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner will strategically partner with the business to drive People & Culture strategic and operational initiatives within a designated portfolio, including leadership development, performance management, culture, talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning and organisational development.Key responsibilitiesAs a P&C Business Partner you will:Shape and deliver a range of people and culture programs within associated portfolio that align with both strategic and operational deliverablesProvide high quality advice and support to management and staff on all people management processes, ER and other P&C related mattersProvide strategic P&C advice and relevant coaching to lift leadership capabilities and continually improve employee relations processesAlign P&C initiatives with business strategy in accordance with budgets, resourcing requirements, sector needs and succession plansProvide leadership and guidance on all employee relation matters including interpretation of industrial instruments and policy, performance management and conducting workplace investigations, successfully collaborating with the team and relevant SMEsAnalyse P&C metrics and inform leaders of trends to identify insights and opportunities for improvement for designated portfoliosAct as the People & Culture lead and business partner on a variety of workforce planning, organisational design and change projectsAbout youWe are looking for dynamic and values-led individuals who have:Extensive generalist and/or Business Partner HR experience (over 5 years) across a diverse range of P&C specialties including employee/industrial relations, performance management, leadership coaching, remuneration and workforce planningDemonstrated successes in translating People and Culture programs into meaningful solutions for key clientsProfound understanding of employment legislation, industrial agreements and associated processesProven experience in providing advice and influencing/ empowering leaders to deliver progressive employee lifecycle initiatives in line with strategic prioritiesExceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including advanced negotiation capabilitiesEmployee benefitsgenU offers a range of benefits, including:Extra leave: 15 days of personal leaveSalary packaging: Non-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum, plus additional meals and entertainment benefitsDiscount shopping programs: Save at over 450 retailers, including Coles, Woolworths, JB HI-FI and OfficeworksUniversity study benefits: 25% fee reduction via a Torrens University scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Torrens UniversityEmployee referral program: Earn a cash bonus for referring successful candidatesHealth and wellbeing support: 24/7 access to a holistic employee assistance programProfessional development: In addition to a comprehensive induction program and ongoing professional development, genU is committed to providing opportunities for career progressionRequirementsTo be eligible, you must have, or be willing to complete:NDIS Screening Workers CheckNDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)A collaborative and flexible approach to work, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levelsA passion for inclusion, wellbeing, and empowering others to thriveReady to make a difference?We are committed to an inclusive and accessible recruitment experience for all candidates.
