The Role This year-round full-time role reports to the Business Operations Manager (BOM) and works closely with Victorian BOMs and Area Managers. You will primarily manage the commissioning and decommissioning of over 40 Regional Seasonal Venues across Victoria, covering LGAs such as Alpine, Indigo, Bendigo, Glenelg, Loddon, Mansfield, Murray River, Pyrenees, Strathbogie, Swan Hill, Wentworth, and Yarra Ranges. The role involves hands-on application of education, mentoring, and coaching strategies to empower venue teams in managing aquatic venues effectively. Based out of Belgravia operated venues and collaborating with regional and area management teams, you will oversee pre-season operational requirements, including recruitment, risk management, facility presentation, training, and induction, providing support as needed. This position requires travel throughout regional Victoria to the LGAs listed above. During the off-peak season (April August), the role will be based at one of our year-round venues. Skills & Attributes Support and guide the commissioning and decommissioning of Regional Seasonal venues Chair Regional Seasonal Venues Support meetings Support newly appointed Regional Area and Venue Managers Travel to venues to support and educate local staff (aiming for 2-3 visits per contract per season) Identify gaps in aquatic safety management and suggest improvements for risk mitigation Ensure venues operate to high standards regarding safety, staffing, and presentation Provide remote support for Pool Plant Operations Communicate compliance with Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations across venues Be a team player Adhere to company policies and legal requirements Perform additional duties as required Represent Belgravia Leisure at regional conferences and committees Essential Qualifications Pool Plant Operations qualification Current Lifeguard Qualification Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) Current CPR Certificate Working with Children Check (or equivalent) National Police Check The Company Belgravia Leisure is part of the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG), the fastest-growing leisure organisation in Australia.
