We welcome applications from all ages and genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, the LGBTIQ+ community, veterans and people with disabilities.About The OpportunityWe have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced, resilient and innovative leader to join us as the Supervisor City Image.This is a brilliant opportunity to play a large role in delivering our vision to be the best Council in Australia, and deliver high-quality services to our community.We Are Seeking a Candidate Withextensive experience in local government, particularly in dealing with city image day labour and contractorsexperience working with unionswell developed conflict resolution skillsa solid track record over several years in previous positionsan excellent customer service recordknowledge about mobility and telematics.This role is primarily responsible to coordinate and roster Council operational staff or contractors in order to meet graffiti removal service requirements and ensure services to customers are provided to agreed performance standards. This role also assists the City Image team with the development, implementation and evaluation of projects that keep our public spaces clean and improve the amenity of the City.EssentialQualifications and experienceRelevant tertiary or trade qualificationsIn-depth knowledge and experience of work procedures related to the delivery of operational worksDemonstrated experience leading a team of operational staffCompetency using computer applicationsCurrent class C drivers licence.Remuneration And BenefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Councils Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $1,790.59 per week, plus an additional 10.53% in accordance with Council''s flexibility agreement41-hour working weekRostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnightLeaseback vehicleEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.Our commitment to safetyBlacktown City Council is committed to safety.
