Our diversity helps us provide the best support possible to carers, families, children and young people and all of our external stakeholders.A little about the roleWere currently looking for a Team Manager - Early Help to join our Family Services Program, leading an established team of Family Services Practitioners on apermanent ongoing contract.Early Help is an early intervention program that works in partnership with Our Place, Morwell Park Primary School, Morwell Central Primary School, Good Start Early Learning Centre and Morwell Park Kindergarten.Our Family Services team provide support and engagement which enables children and young people to safely remain with, or be restored to their families. This support includes conducting needs and risk assessments, developing time limited intervention plans, and partnering with Parents, Children and Young People, Carers and Stakeholders.The role will facilitate parenting groups as well as coaching and educational opportunities for parents.The role will also provide episodes of family support to parents across the partnership.This position is a full-time (8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday), ongoing opportunity, co-located at Morwell Park and Morwell Central Primary Schools.As aTeam Manager,you will be responsible for:In accordance with the familys goals, support the practitioners to improve the parent(s) skills in parenting their children safely by providing, counselling, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, group work and practical support to families, paying particular attention to impacts of parental drug use, mental health problems, family violence, child abuse and neglect.Using the Key to Care Framework, work collaboratively with practitioners to ensure families identify goals and develop and implement therapeutic plans in their own homes.Work with evidence informed practice and evidence-based programs to identify any needs of the children, young people and families to increase resilienceProvide Practitioners with appropriate levels of support and supervision to fulfil their responsibilities and meet the internal and external program requirements.The base salary for this position is $106,389.92 - $111,092.80 per annum + super + vehicle & fuel card + NFP salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.About youTo be successful in this role, youll come with:Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other relevant recognised QualificationDemonstrated leadership and/ or supervisory experiencePrior experience working with and/or on behalf of children, young people and familiesHave experience and understanding of Child and Family Service, Child Protection and Court OrdersExperience in undertaking comprehensive assessments to develop, implement, monitor, and review service delivery and support plansTenacity, diligence and resilience - with the ability to adopt a creative approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environmentTeam Manager Early HelpFull-time permanent ongoing contractSupervise and coach a small team of Family Services PractitionersMake a real and lasting impact in families and communitiesBenefit vehicle, laptop and smart phone providedRapidly growing international community social care organisationWe Are Key Assets AustraliaKey Assets is a leading not-for-profit, children, family and community services agency, founded in Australia in 2007.
