Operating as part of the Mobile Vehicle Patrol Response Unit, this position plays a vital role in deterring threats, responding to incidents, and supporting after-hours operations.Youll be responsible for vehicle-based and foot patrols, first response to security alarms, welfare checks on other security personnel, and accurate reporting of all activities to the Security Operations Centre (SOC). This is a key frontline role helping protect our staff, visitors, collections, and facilities.Some of the key duties include:Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols to monitor site perimeters, access points, and security risks.Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in line with MV protocols.Perform welfare checks on night staff and maintain a visible, reassuring presence.Delivery/pickup when requiredMaintain the MVPRU vehicle, ensuring it is operational, clean, and properly stocked with required supplies.Liaise with the SOC and emergency services to manage incidents and ensure smooth shift coordination.The successful applicant will have:You are calm under pressure, detail-focused, and take pride in ensuring a safe and secure environment.
