As First Nations Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving and delivering initiatives that support First Nations across the state.In this role you will be responsible for:Leading and delivering Tennis Wests Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)Coordinating the State Boorloo Tennis Carnival and supporting lead in events across WARepresenting Western Australia at the National Indigenous Tennis Carnival in Darwin, NTBuilding strong partnerships with First Nations organisations to grow participation and community connectionSupporting the planning and delivery of broader diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives across Tennis West, providing event and administrative support as requiredAbout youTo be successful in this role you will:Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groupsCultural awareness and understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively within First Nations communitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of tennis or the broader sporting landscape is desirableHold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children CheckPreparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis WestWhats to love?Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunitiesMonthly wellbeing activities and recognition through our Serving Your Success programSalary packaging & a range of discounts from our sponsorship partnersTo ApplyIf you think youre up to the challenge, wed love to hear from you!
