We help people achieve their goals through therapy services, daily living assistance, accommodation, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and specialised deafblind services across Perth Metro, the South West, and the Wheatbelt.About your new roleThis is a full-time role (or part-time role if preferred) for a Workplace Health & Safety Advisor at SensesWA in Perth, WA.Reporting directly to the Manager, People and Culture, the Work Health and Safety Advisor is responsible for championing a safety culture and supporting leaders and employees to understand, implement and embed safe practices of work; and to ensure all activities and processes consistent with SensesWA requirements are conducted in accordance with policy frameworks and legislation.This will be achieved through the provision of coaching, training, guidance, development of programs, effective communication, and timely reporting in all areas of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).Certificate IV Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) [minimum].Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary legislation relating to work health and safety, and injury management.Proven highly developed organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.Experience in a work health and safety role.Past success in effective communication across a variety of diverse audiences, including internal and external stakeholders.Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office.Injury Management Coordinator qualifications or extensive experience in injury management including management of Workers Compensation claims.Experience working in disability services industry or other not-for-profit environment.Essential compliance criteriaNational Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Clearance.Current WA drivers licence.May be required to travel or work across and/or be located at any of the SensesWA locations.How to applyApply online close 13 July 2025.
