Remuneration: Attractive package offeredAbout the role: This is a newly created opportunity for a Project Controls Officer for someone looking to diversify their resume! This exciting role sits within our Bulk Project Team.As the Project Control Advisor, I you will be responsible for managing project costs (budgets, actuals and forecasts) and co-ordinating effectively across a multi disciplined team and delivering project status reports to Project Managers and other stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Update project cost data including budgets, actual costs and forecasts and prepare detailed cost reports to ensure projects remain within financial guidelinesDevelop and maintain comprehensive project schedules including fully resourced loaded activities, critical path methodology and logically linked tasks.Track, monitor, measure, and report on the progress of the project throughout its entire lifestyleSupport project control processes such as change management procedures to manage project scope, schedule and costs effectivelyIdentifying and reporting on potential cost and schedule risks and advising on mitigation strategiesCoordinate and collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metricsEstablish and maintain project documentation and records.About you:You thrive on working in a dynamic and agile environment and you value stakeholder engagement, as this will be key to your success on cross-functional projects. Curiosity is second nature, and your high level of business and commercial acumen will enable you to connect to the bigger picture and drive high performance outcomes.In respects to the technicalities, youll need:Experience within Project Management, Finance, Engineering, and / or Construction Management administration.High level of skill and proven extensive experience in project controls or related rolesWell-developed communication and time management skillsAttention to detail and a commitment to data accuracyAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExperience utilising Primavera P6 or a project planning software desirableHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience and knowledge of railway and infrastructure projects, preferred.What we offer you:At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
