RSPCA Queensland is a non-government, community-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of domestic, farmed, and native animals in Queensland. About the role Using your retail and supervisory experience to help all creatures great and small by coordinating the volunteers and daily operations of the op shop while focusing on generating a valuable income for the RSPCA Qld. RSPCA Op Shops make a real difference, with all proceeds going straight back to helping animals in need. Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand through your passion for all things preloved and second-hand and encourage the same within your team to create a positive supportive store atmosphere. Work closely with the Op Shop Store Manager and Area Manager, to support the goals and mission of the RSPCA Qld. Maintain a high level of customer service. Train and support volunteers. Drive sales to achieve set targets. Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store. Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures. Maintain and periodically review the shops pricing list. Who are we looking for? Confident in retail and must have demonstrated leadership experience in a retail environment (minimum of 2 years in a similar role). Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of organisational skills and attention to detail. Sound computer skills. Proven ability to work well under pressure. Ability to supervise & provide direction to a small team.
