Assistant Farm Managers looking for their next position are invited to apply for a fulltime position in a dynamic family-owned faming business operating multiple farms at Sale on the coast in eastern Victoria; the farms carry sheep, a beef herd and produce dry land and irrigated crops using modern infrastructure and technology.Starting now and reporting to the owners, in this hands-on role, the Assistant Farm Manager will be involved in production and maintenance all 3 key areas of the business.The position is best suited to an energetic Assistant Farm Manager with leadership and team working skills, sheep and beef husbandry knowledge and practical experience, pasture, forage, mechanical, water and maintenance experience who shows attention to detail in their work.Assistant Farm Managers who demonstrate these skills and are ready to take the next step in their career are also encouraged to apply as a managers position can be tailored to your preference for livestock, cropping or mixed farm management. Your own working dogs are essential.A generous salary is on offer matching your skills and experience and the farm invests in you by developing a training plan that enhances your ability to perform the role.The position comes with air-conditioned 3-bedroom accommodation with outdoor entertainment area and sheds on 5 fenced acres with domestic pets and horses welcome. Primary and high school buses run to your choice of K-12 schooling. Its just 20 minutes drive to Sale which provides all your shopping, healthcare and recreation needs including team sports and beach access; and for those who enjoy winter sports, you can be on the slopes in a couple of hours.
