This is an exciting time to join our expanding team and advance your career.About the RoleAs a Road Services Worker 1, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing roadways in the Narrabri area. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Assisting with road maintenance tasks such as patching, sealing, and line marking.Operating and maintaining road plant equipment.Assessing and addressing road hazards and safety concerns.Accurately complete plant and equipment operation documentation, including a pre-start safety checklist.In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in road maintenance and construction. With the support of our experienced team, you will gain hands-on experience and have the chance to advance within the organisation.We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about road quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:Previous experience in road maintenance or construction is preferred.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.If you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to make a difference in your community, we want to hear from you.
