Life Stream Australia has an opportunity for a person to support a Participant in Franklin for up to 20 hours per week, providing in-home and community participation support, including domestic assistance. Support is required Monday to Friday during school hours, with occasional evenings until 10 pm. Support on weekends or travel within the territory, interstate, or overseas may also be requested but would not be frequent. Maintaining confidentiality and supporting the family''s privacy are essential.Domestic support involves household tasks that the Participant cannot undertake due to a neurological pain-related disability, such as laundry, putting clothes away, emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming, picking up items off the floor, cleaning out the fridge, and wiping benches.In-home, social, and community participation support includes grocery shopping, dog walking, helping the Participant prepare for work via laptop from their bed, assisting with medication organization, and working with the family and pets (dogs and fish) to enable them to function as a family and live a normal life.Life Stream Australia is a proud employer of choice, offering staff a wide range of benefits that complement the award wage and entitlements.
