If your training pathway requires tertiary experience only, this can be fully supported within the network at John Hunter Hospital.What you''ll be doingThe primary purpose of a Stage 1 Emergency Medicine Trainee is to provide high-quality medical care, under appropriate supervision, to undifferentiated patients presenting to the Emergency Department.Trainees are expected to work within the scope of their clinical experience and training, contributing to patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Seeking senior support and input when required is a core part of safe, effective practice.This position contributes to and supports progression through Stage 1 of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) Training Program.
