Additionally, there may be opportunities to contribute to other clinical areas based on service needs.The Grade 2 Occupational Therapist will join an established friendly team comprised of Grade 3, Grade 2 and Grade 1 Occupational Therapists, supported by a team of Allied Health Assistants.The Occupational Therapy Department provides services to a number of areas including acute, subacute, Community Rehab, Aged Care, Paediatrics and outpatients. Our department encourages and supports regular clinical supervision and professional development including dedicated, highly skilled and experienced senior Occupational Therapists to provide support, mentoring and supervision.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive team environment and develop a range of skills and experience whilst enjoying the benefits of a regional lifestyle in beautiful West Gippsland.Our preferred candidates will have:Degreeor Masters in Occupational Therapy.Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Occupational Therapy Board.The ability to apply a high level of clinical knowledge and skills in occupational therapy practice.The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.The ability to provide support and supervision to junior staff, assistants and studentsExcellent organisational skillsCurrent Victorian Drivers Licence.Acute hospital experienceIMPORTANT:Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
