We have an ambitious new Strategic Vision and we need the best players on our team to help us deliver real results for the sporting sector and all Australians.Are you up for the challenge?About the team The Sport Wellbeing and Engagement Branch purpose is to lead the high performance systems approach to the wellbeing of its people through the delivery of targeted programs, services and partnerships that enable the system to win well. The Branch prioritises the development and delivery of integrated, holistic services and programs that are designed to improve an athletes ability to effectively navigate their high performance pathway and to enable them to achieve sustained success as a person and in their athletic pursuits.About the role This role will provide administrative support for the implementation of the AIS Problem Solvers Program to inspire Australians and support high performance athletes to win well in sport and in life. The Engagement Coordinator will assist in ensuring the program advocates for sport and its positive influence on Australia, promotes and supports inclusive and diverse sporting environments and drives thought leadership and innovation amongst Australias young.Under direction from the Engagement Lead, and the Engagement Advisor, administer the AIS Problem Solvers Program. This includes:Providing advice, administrative support, and technical support in the implementation and execution of the program:In consultation with the Engagement Advisor, coordinate athlete appearances for the program, including logistics support.In consultation with the Engagement Advisor, engage schools to participate in the programAssist with athlete training for the programAssist with data gathering to obtain, record, and pass on athlete feedbackContribute to the maintenance and enhancement of athlete and stakeholder relationshipsWork collaboratively across the Sport Wellbeing and Engagement Branch to contribute to the coordination, documentation, and review of Wellbeing and Engagement initiatives, programs, and services.Actively promote and role model the Australian Sports Commissions (ASC) values of Excellence, Integrity, Respect and Teamwork, and contribute to positive organisational change, effective communication, and continuous improvement at the ASC.Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Engagement Lead and Engagement Advisor proactively and as requestedAbout you We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent relationship building skills and experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of community-based engagement, education or inclusion programs.The successful candidate will have:Strong understanding of the high performance sport environmentTertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in sport management, project management and event management.Demonstrated success engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering projects.Demonstrated high level organisation skills and attention to detail.We strongly encourage high performance athletes with experience in engagement program delivery to applyThis position is offered as an FIXED TERM position until December 31, 2027 with the possibility of being extended.Why work with us?We have offices located in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.
