We are the law firm of choice for coverage advice to insurers and monitoring class actions brought against blue-chip companies, statutory agencies and corporate executives.The OpportunityWe are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our General Liability team in Perth working 3 - 4 days per week. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced legal professionals and gain valuable insights into the legal field. If you are a proactive individual with a passion for litigation, this role is ideal for you.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist lawyers in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.Assist our legal administrative assistants with admin related tasks such as printing, filing, scanning, meeting room management etc.Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.Assist with document management, including filing, organisation, and indexing.Liaise with clients, barristers, and court personnel.Prepare and organise materials for court appearances and meetings.Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Perform other duties as assigned.What you needMust be in the final year of your degree.Must have full working rights in Australia.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Why WK?If you join us, you will be part of an industry-leading team that solves complex legal problems, excels at client service, works on the most interesting and market defining claims, and is constantly challenging itself to learn and innovate.
