We have a brand new facility in Adelaide that serves as our Global HQ with hybrid working and then remote first in other states.Our Chief People Officer is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our P&C team and genuinely partner with a few key leaders across the business to help us build the kind of culture that attracts, grows, and keeps the best in the world; a culture that scales as fast and far as our technology.We''re a Series D Space Tech that is in scaling up phase, so prior experience in start up / scale ups is a must have and while we''re looking for strong HR generalist backgrounds, having strong L&D backgrounds or skills (creating and facilitating engaging training and coaching sessions) is also high on our priority list.Role responsibilitiesBe a genuine strategic partner and coachWork side by side with leaders across the globe to help their teams perform, adapt and thrive. Use analytics to spot trends, mitigate risk, and measure progress on what really matters: engagement, inclusion, retention, performance.Role requirementsIt is a must have requirement that you have experience in start up / scale up environments, we work a little faster and leaner than big corporates and value the experience of adapting and problem solving in those environments.- You will have 5 + years of experience in HR / P&C Partnering or Generalist roles within those start up / scale up environments with a broad knowledge base of key HR issues - Employer Relations, OH&S, Performance and Compensation etc but with a key focus on L&D experience or skills.For example you would nee to be strong at designing training content and facilitating sessions as you will be asked to coach the leaders you partner with.- You will have strong examples of using Data in your decision making- Experience partnering with Technical/Engineering/Product teams will be nice to have- Strong commercial mindset: you understand how great people practices drive business outcomes- Comfort with ambiguity and complexity; you know how to bring structure without over-engineering- You have excellent communication skills and can influence, inspire, and challenge constructivelyAbout Fleet SpaceFleet Space Technologies vision from the beginning was to build technologies to help humanity explore and connect the Earth, Moon, and Mars.This led us to develop and launch one of Australias largest constellation of satellites, create our satellite-enabled mineral exploration technology (ExoSphere), and send Australias first seismic technology (SPIDER) to the Moon in 2026.
