As a key member of our Payroll team, youll play a vital role in delivering a high-quality payroll service that supports our growing workforce. Your mission is to ensure our payroll is accurate, compliant, timely, and backed by exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Processing & Compliance:Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with our outsourced partner.Manage all employee master data, new hires, and terminations.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.Interpret applicable awards and maintain system accuracy.Support audit and payroll control requirements.Payments & Reconciliations:Prepare, reconcile, and process all payroll-related payments accurately and on time.Handle monthly payroll financial reconciliations.Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.Support & Customer Experience:Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing high-quality and timely support.Maintain and improve FAQs and enable employee self-service options.Support annual payroll processes such as tax year-end and remuneration reviews.Contribute to broader payroll projects and continuous improvements.Where do you fit in?To help you hit the ground running, we''re looking for someone with:Proven end-to-end payroll experience in Australia.Exposure to New Zealand payroll.Familiarity with time & attendance systems experience with UKG is a strong bonus.Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.A positive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn.Comfortable navigating change, with the ability to adapt to evolving systems and processes.Open-minded, proactive, and confident when faced with new challenges.A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for innovation.Strong customer focus with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.Advanced Excel capabilities and strong numerical fluency.Solid understanding of superannuation and payroll tax requirements.Highly desirable (but not essential):Experience working in FMCG or other fast-paced, dynamic industries.Knowledge of award interpretation, particularly the Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Manufacturing Award.Experience with outsourced payroll vendors and ADP will be an advantage.Unleash Your Spirit!As Suntorians we believe in Dreaming Big and Growing for Good.
