Data Governance at Endeavour is on a journey, and this role will be vital in fostering a culture of strong data practices within strategic data domains. Youll be key in defining how data assets are catalogued, governed, and made discoverable helping teams unlock insights faster and achieve better business outcomes.Sound good? Read on.Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Stakeholder engagement & CollaborationDesign impactful stakeholder engagement strategies to drive business change and data governance adoptionFoster a data-driven decision-making cultureFacilitate discussions and conflict resolution, especially with differing perspectivesImplement change strategies for voluntary data governance adoptionCreate compelling narratives on data governance benefits using real world business examplesEmpowering Data Stewards and Data PractitionersSupport Data Stewards by providing framework, toolkits and advice on data controls across data lifecycleUplift data accountability by embedding data stewardship activities into business processesWork with business and technical stakeholders to understand and capture various metadata, definitions and enrich the data catalogIdentify and meet data governance training needs for key stakeholdersEnterprise Data Governance Framework that supports OutcomesPartner with business stakeholders and data teams to understand their data needs and enable the development of strategic data productsTake ownership of one or more data domains and implement Data Governance framework within themLead data quality initiatives to drive continuous data quality improvement by identifying, cataloguing and supporting the remediation of critical dataSupport to continuously improve, simplify and enhance the existing processes, solutions and data governance tooling capabilitiesWhat do we need from youNow Lets Talk About YouOver 8-10 years of experience in an insights-driven business, as a data governance analyst, data steward, data analyst, or in a similar roleDemonstrated ability in conducting capability assessments, identifying gaps & opportunities for improvement, and data maturity upliftProven success in embedding data governance practices within existing processes to lead and drive changeData Stewardship experience in previous roles will be a nice-to-haveGood understanding of data governance and data management best practicesExperience in either data governance, data management, or business analysis in a commercial environmentExperience with data cataloging tools, such as Informatica, etc.Excellent communication and collaboration skillsPositive and can do attitude with strong analytical skillsThe benefits are good too!We offer flexible working in every senseAn exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphys, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubsMonthly meeting-free daysYour health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, its our first priority.
