With 1000 staff in APAC across 23 disciplines, we support clients on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Approvals, Closure and Management team based in Adelaide CBD or Nuriootpa. The team offers project management, environmental impact assessment, and post-consent environmental management services, collaborating with other specialist teams within SLR.The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in consulting, government, or industry, enjoy project work, mentoring, and client relationship development. You will work with the national EAC&M Group and other teams, contributing to the teams growth.ResponsibilitiesProviding advice on environmental impact assessment and management principles.Managing environmental approvals projects across industries.Supporting development of team business plans and strategies.Building effective client and internal relationships.Delivering high-quality reports.Occasional travel for field assessments.RequirementsDegree in Environmental Science, Town Planning, Engineering, or related field.5-10 years of relevant experience.Experience in multidisciplinary projects.Client management and business development skills are advantageous.Knowledge of SA & Commonwealth environmental legislation.Experience in mining, infrastructure, renewables, power, or agribusiness sectors.Excellent communication skills.Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia.BenefitsWe offer a diverse, friendly, and expert team environment, flexible hybrid work, career progression, and parental leave schemes.
