This part-time role involves working on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the start date negotiable, ideally as soon as possible. The manager reports directly to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services and is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the College Uniform Shop. As the shop is often the first point of contact for new families, the manageralong with shop assistantsplays a key role in creating a welcoming environment.Your Responsibilities as Uniform Shop Manager IncludeOversee staff and volunteers, maintaining a professional, friendly environment.Open and close the shop daily, ensuring security of monies and valuables.Handle queries from parents and staff regarding service, uniform quality, or special requirements.Maintain and oversee the online store and sales.Attend monthly management meetings to report on shop matters.Manage stock, liaise with suppliers, and oversee invoicing.Ensure preloved stock is of high quality.Set up booking systems for Year Seven appointments to facilitate new student uniform requirements.Selection CriteriaAbility to instruct staff and volunteers to maintain a positive environment.Experience in retail, preferably within a school setting.Skill in stock ordering, price negotiation, and managing delivery timelines.Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with parents, students, and staff.Ability to build rapport quickly with the College community.Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.Understanding and appreciation of the Catholic ethos.Team-oriented mindset, proactive support for colleagues.Qualifications RequiredExperience or qualifications in Sales or Customer Service.Proficiency in IT.For more information, visit the College website.
