The role also has key relationships with Medical Officers across the 3 services, Nurse Unit Managers and Key Stakeholders including primary care, Patient Flow Managers, Discharge Planners, Emergency Departments and other collaborative services including Mid North Coast Virtual Care and Aged Care Outreach Service.This role has a key responsibility to guide the future direction of the HITH service, in line with Ministry of Health Policy Directive, Guidelines and Key Performance Indicators. This includes guiding and offering clinical expertise in the design, implementation, and delivery of innovative Hospital in the Home Services.The position leads service development, innovation, clinical practice improvement, quality and safety initiatives, and supports the professional development of medical and clinical services. The Clinical Director will collaborate with LHD and external clinicians to plan, develop, and implement integrated HITH Services.This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined under the General questions section at Occupational assessment screening and vaccination - FAQSalary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
